Deja Blue (by Olympic silver
medalist Ferro, out of a Branco daughter) is an elegant stallion
with an outstanding jumper and dressage pedigree, with impressive movement and form. His
bloodlines include an impressive
collection of
horses including
Ulft, Le Mexico, Greek Jab XX, Ramiro Z and Amor. This refined stallion
has exceptional conformation and a wonderful temperament as well. Deja
Blue spent 2008 on "A" Jumper circuit with Erin
Davis and
October Hill Farm and has come home to focus on his breeding career. Per his
trainers, Blue has exceptional rideability
and an excellent temperament (which he passes on to his foals).

The 2008 season was extremely successful with performance at Levels 4 and 5 and the 5 yo Young Jumper Qualifying classes. This multi-talented stallion should pass on his abilities for any discipline! After completing the 30dt, Blue finished his performance requirements and became permanently licensed with RPSI.
His first foal crop arrived in 2008 and was 100% PREMIUM! All colts and all spectacular! DEJA BLUE is EVA semen negative. DVD available upon request.
DEJA BLUE’s sire Ferro was known as the ‘Black Pearl’ of the KWPN. He won team Silver at the 1998 World Equestrian Games, 1999 European Championships and the 2000 Olympic Games. Ferro and rider Coby van Baalen posted a personal best of 80+% in their kür to earn a Silver Medal at the World Cup Finals in ‘s Hertogenbosch behind Anky Van Grunsven and Bonfire. To date, Ferro has sired 10 licensed sons, including Metall, Kennedy, Rhodium, Lorenzo and Hilltop Rousseau, Silver Medalist at the FEI Young Dressage Horse Championships. Ferro’s sire Ulft descends from the same sire line that produced Furioso II and his dam, Brenda, was by Farn who sired KWPN Stallion of the Century, Nimmerdor.
DEJA BLUE’s dam Song Sung Blue B has already produced two BWP licensed stallions—Deja Blue and Blue Bayou B (by Simsalabim) and a Premium, performance tested daughter Apollonia B. • Song Sung Blue B’s sire Branco was the first stallion in the U.S. to be fully licensed as a Belgian Warmblood breeding stallion. Recently deceased, Branco was a grandson of the legendary jumper sire Ramiro (aka G Ramiro Z), considered the most influential jumper sire of the last 50 years and sire of Olympic Medalists Ratina Z, Royal Kaliber, etc. and countless other international competitors and licensed sons including Rebel I & II Z, Robin I & II Z, Ronald, Raphael, Damiro, Ramino, Armstrong, Zeoliet, etc.
BRANCO’S DAM, UGONDA, produced two-time Olympian Freud, who competed under the name Radisson Diamond. Ugonda’s half-sister Agnetha (Le Mexico) produced the sBs licensed stallion Elton III.
In 2007, Deja Blue was the Reserve Grand Champion at the Great American/USDFBC Southern Series Final. In 2005 he was ranked 8th Nationally in the Cosequin/USDF Breeders Championship.
Deja Blue has been in training with Russell Oden (Oden Sport Horses).
At the 2005 Belgian Warmblood Keuring, Deja Blue scored a 76 in the two year old futurity and was the highest scoring colt in the country. Deja Blue has been invited to present as a stallion candidate in 2006.
At the 2004 BWP Keuring, Deja Blue won the yearling Futurity - He will be shown in the Two-year old Futurity in 2005.
