Magnet was approved at Neumunster in 1966. He stood at various locations in Germany before being imported to North America in the fall of 1974. From 1975 to 1978 he stood at Sankt Georg Farm in Virginia. In 1978 was moved to Nun's Oak Trakehners in Maryland where he remained until his death in 1980.

The late maturing stallion has developed very much caliber and body volume, a somewhere coarse head and neck, much depth and width of body, strong foundation, powerful way of going, jumping talent and desire are evident. His get always display his great way of going in all gaits; usually they also have much jumping talent. Character and temperament are simple and unaffected.
