Rio Grande was the winner of the 100 day stallion test at November Hill Farm in 1991 with an index of 135 and a jumping index of 134.  With Eric Lamaze, Rio Grande was part of Team Canada that won the Nation’s Cup in New York and Toronto in 1995.   A great sport horse sire, Rio Grande topped lists of hunter and jumper sires for years in North America.  Qualified for the Atlanta Olympics. Grande Prix jumper and now a sire of Grand Prix horses, Champion hunters, jumpers and dressage horses.
