Figaro B’s sire, Pavarotti vd Helle has consistently produced offspring at the highest levels of both dressage and jumping competition including Quintus who placed 10th at the Beijing Olympic Games in showjumping. Pavarotti himself was the reserve champion of the jumping test for Rheinland and Westfalen as well as the BWP. Following a trailer accident, Pavarotti became a champion dressage performer. The descendants of Pavarotti are notable for their good looks. As well, they combine super movement with excellent jumping technique.

Figaro B’s grandsire, Pilot is without doubt the best Westphalian producer of jumpers. Pilot has produced about thirty Grand Prix horses including Priamos, Bugatti Pedro, Piro, and Panama. Damsire Wellington was reserve champion of the stallion testing in 1983 and went on to place 3rd in the National stallion competition in 1985, 2nd in the 1987 competition, and 1st in the stallion competition category C. He also starred in dressage at Z-level and jumped nationally. He earned his “keur” predicate by siring many “ster” and “keur” mares, and approved stallions like Emilion, Farrington, and Glennridge.

True to his pedigree, Figaro B is a powerful jumper, with beautiful movement. He was the 2010 Gulfport High Pre Green Circuit Champion. He also successfully completed the 2010 70 day Stallion Test, earning 9’s for his character and work ethic, as well as from the guest jumper riders. Figaro made his debut in the 1st Year Hunters in 2011, winning several Champion and Reserve Champions at Gulfport. He also was successful in the USHJA Hunter Derbies, finishing 6th out of 50 entries in his debut.

Figaro’s offspring reliably inherit his good looks and exceptional movement. Daughter Glissade placed 2nd in yearling HB at Lexington Nat’l Horse Show and 3rd at Warrenton. Easy to start undersaddle, his offspring should excel in the hunter ring.
